<h3 class="section">2.4 Work Faster: <span class="option">-f</span></h3>

<p><a name="index-_002df-59"></a><a name="index-trusted-compiler-60"></a><a name="index-faster-processing-_0028_0040option_007b_002df_007d_0029-61"></a><span class="samp">-f</span> should only be used when assembling programs written by a
|
|
(trusted) compiler. <span class="samp">-f</span> stops the assembler from doing whitespace
|
|
and comment preprocessing on
|
|
the input file(s) before assembling them. See <a href="Preprocessing.html#Preprocessing">Preprocessing</a>.
